The scientific director of Crete Fertility Centre, Mattheos Fraidakis, participated in the 2nd SIMA congress which took place on 21–23 November 2025, at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel, in Heraklion, Crete.

The Congress was organized by the Heraklion Medical Association and the Famagusta Medical Association and is inspired by the first recorded reference to a physician from the Minoan era (ΣΙΜΑ), found on a Phaistos jar in the 17th century BC.

Dr. Fraidakis, scientific director of the Crete Fertility Centre, presented the topic “Health and Family Planning: The Role of the Family in the Development of Children” on Friday 21/11 in the high-profile section of the conference HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN CANCER PATIENTS.
